Adding cucumber into your daily diet can help you build a strong and healthy body that is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside!

Cucumbers are low in calories and offer many benefits, including detoxification and healthy skin. They also help keep you hydrated during the hot summer months or during extended workouts. A cucumber is actually 90% water!

This smoothie recipe is about as easy as they come and would make a great addition to your daily routine. And don’t discard the seeds! They contain magnesium and enhance the benefits of this awesome vegetable.

Ingredients

  • 1 large organic cucumber
  • 1 organic green apple
  • 1 handful organic baby spinach
  • 1 small handful organic mint leaf
  • Juice from one organic lime
  • 1 & 1/2 cup organic coconut water
  • 1/3 cup organic light coconut milk

Preparation

1. Peel cucumber. Peel and core apple. Cut both into chunks.

2. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with fresh mint.
