BBQ chicken on pizza? Well, if you have never had BBQ chicken pizza, you are missing out – especially our BBQ Chicken Pizza. This unconventional pizza pie was created in the sunny state of California by some very forward thinking chefs in the mid 1980’s and instantly became a favorite for those who love to partake in the ‘Za (yup, this is a real nickname for pizza). However, our chefs found ways to make it even better!
Unlike the takeout version of this pizza, our made-from-scratch BBQ Chicken pizza, has a unique gluten-free crust made from a blend of textured flours like millet, brown rice, sorghum and tapioca. This helps give it our crust the chewy texture people expect from a good pizza while keeping the carbs low. We then evenly spread our slow-simmered, made-from scratch BBQ sauce over every inch so that each bite is full sweet and spicy flavor. Next we methodically coat each pie with ample amount of tender, juicy seasoned chicken. Finally, we blanket this oven destined masterpiece with a blend of aged cheddar-jack and mozzarella cheese along with a sprinkling of red onions.
After one bite there is a very good chance you may never eat any other pizza ever again.
