While delivery delays are rare, we are very prepared to handle them. How Do I Create a FedEx Delivery Account to Add Delivery Notes?
Setting up a FedEx Delivery Manager Account is a great way to add specific delivery notes for any delivery that you plan to receive. Visit fedex.com, click on the “Tracking” drop down menu, and then select “All Tracking Services”. From here you can set up a Delivery Manager account.
Can I Receive Deliveries Other Than the Days Listed?
Because all of our meals are prepared fresh, we have a tight production schedule. However, in some isolated instances, we are able to make one-time deliveries on dates that are not available online.
What is the Average Size of the Meal Containers?
Our BPA-free containers are approximately 9” long and 7” wide.

How Do I Heat My Meals in the Supplied Entrée Container?
Heating your meals in our BPA-free entrée containers is quick and simple.
- Cut a slit in the plastic film by piercing it with a fork or a kitchen knife.
- Place the meal in your microwave.
- Heat to the recommend time on your entrée label.
- Remove your meal from the microwave, peel off the plastic film, and enjoy.
What Should I Do with My Items Once They Arrive?
We suggest immediately removing the items from the box and storing them in the refrigerator. You can freeze your meals if they cannot be consumed before the expiration date. We do not suggest storing salads or egg dishes in the freezer.
How Do the Meals Remain Fresh and Cold During Transit?
Your meals are prepared fresh and delivered to you in a temperature-controlled box with insulated packaging. This allows your meals to be kept at the highest standard of safety and quality during transit.
Can I Recycle My Box and Packaging Materials?
Yes, you can. Our boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be recycled the same as any other cardboard product. The soft liner is made from a recycled cotton blend and is completely biodegradable. The ice packs contain a food-safe, non-toxic, and water-soluble gel solution. This solution can be emptied into the trash, and the case can be recycled. We DO NOT recommend emptying the solution down the drain. Our meal containers are recyclable as well.

The menu changes weekly and is set up on a five-week revolving cycle. The menu also changes with the seasons to ensure your meals are prepared with the finest and freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables.
When and How Should I Eat My Metabolic Meals?
My Choice Plan: The My Choice Plan can be eaten in the order that best fits your needs. Your meals will have an expiration date.
Chef’s Choice Plan: The menu for your Chef’s Choice plan is always available online at mymetabolicmeals.com/my-account. Simply login to your account and pick your scheduled delivery date in the My Schedule section. Here you will be able to see all the fresh, chef-prepared meals that are scheduled to be delivered to your door.
I Have Dietary Restrictions and Allergies. How Do You Tailor Your Product to My Needs?
My Choice Plan: My Choice options will have all ingredients listed and an allergy disclaimer. Additionally, filters on the menu page let you choose what ingredients to avoid so you can quickly narrow down the meals that are safe for you.
Chef’s Choice Plan: If you have a shellfish allergy or dislike shellfish/fish, your Metabolic Meals consultant will design and personalize your program to your preferences within our program guidelines. Please be sure to take the opportunity to let us know what your needs are so that we may design a program that best accommodates your needs.
Note: Meals are prepared and packaged in a facility shared with eggs, milk, nuts/tree nuts and shellfish.
How Will My Order Arrive?
Orders will be delivered via FedEx and do not require a signature. A tracking number will be emailed to you from FedEx when your package ships.
How Many Shipments Per Week Do I Receive?
You will receive one shipment per week regardless of which plan you’re enrolled in. Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the date you can expect to receive your shipment.
Do I Have to Receive Shipments Each Week?

How Long Will It Take to Receive My Package Once Ordered?

How Is Nutritional Information Figured?
Nutritional information is calculated based on our standardized recipes. Because our products are handcrafted, exact information may vary. Data is calculated using USDA FoodData Central, an integrated data system hosted by the National Agricultural Library that provides expanded nutrient profile data and links to related agricultural and experimental research. Nutritional data is then rounded to meet FDA regulations.
What if I Don’t Submit My Selections in Time? – My Choice

Do you use any GMOs?
We try to only source ingredients from companies enrolled in the Non-GMO Project which greatly reduces the likelihood of buying GMO ingredients. At the time of writing, this is the only organization offering independent verification of products in the US and Canada.
Where is Metabolic Meals Available?
Metabolic Meals is available throughout the 48 continental United States and Hawaii (extra shipping charges apply for Hawaii). We ship all orders via FedEx delivery to your home or office. Please note: If it is sent to your office, FedEx has the right to deliver your package between 8am‐8pm. If your office closes before that time and FedEx delivers your package and you are not there to receive it, Metabolic Meals will not be responsible for meals that were not able to be consumed.
What Number of Calories Does Each Day Contain?
My Choice Plan: Our smaller Fit portions average 360 calories per meal, and our larger Performance portions average 575 calories per meal. If you eat three meals per day, your daily calorie range would total around 1,200 for Fit and 1,700 for Performance. This doesn’t include snacks.
Chef’s Choice Plan: If you’re eating Fit portions, you can expect your average daily intake to be around 1,200 calories, or 1,500 if you add snacks.
With Performance portions, your average daily intake will be around 1,700 calories, or 2,000 if you add snacks.
Am I Able to View the Menus?
My Choice Plan: You can view the next two menus by entering your zip code when prompted or by logging into your account.
Chef’s Choice Plan: Login to your account and pick your scheduled delivery date in the My Schedule section. Here you will be able to see all the fresh, chef-prepared meals that are scheduled to be delivered to your door.
How Do I Pay for My Meals?
Metabolic Meals must be prepaid at least 5 business days before the first delivery is shipped and may be purchased by credit card. Metabolic Meals accepts AMEX, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.
What is the Customer Cancellation Policy?
Customers may cancel the recurring payment authorization at any time by calling 855-355-MEAL (6325) or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The customer’s request to cancel the recurring payment authorization must be received by Metabolic Meals by 9:00 AM CST on Wednesday to prevent a charge for the proceeding week’s meals.
