Sweet and Sour Sliced Turkey with Teriyaki Broccoli Rice Pilaf
Sweet and sour lovers, rejoice! Our chefs have taken a health food staple of turkey breast, rice and broccoli and transformed it into an Asian-inspired dish that will make you forget the sugar-laden condiments typical with takeout.
Our chefs start our Sweet and Sour Sliced Turkey by slow-roasting each turkey breast for several hours to lock in that simple yet distinctive oven-roasted juicy flavor. Once sliced, each serving is topped with a tangy sauce crafted from the perfect marriage of sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar and sriracha.
The Asian flavors in our Teriyaki Broccoli Rice Pilaf perfectly complement the turkey. To create the pilaf, our chefs combine steamed jasmine rice with black sesame seeds, chopped broccoli and a made-from-scratch teriyaki sauce. For our version of teriyaki, our Executive Chef discarded the heavily-modified, inflammatory soy sauce and replaced it with coconut aminos; which are naturally-made using aged coconut tree sap, the sun, and tropical sea water!
